Ho-Ho-Kus Inc. was established in Tom Nepola’s studio apartment by newly minted college engineers at McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach, California in 1979. It was a period of great innovation and creativity. Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak founded Apple a few years before in Northern California.
Today, some of the original McDonnell Douglas engineering team consisting of Tom Nepola, (first row center DC Jets picture), Tom Whistler, (Tom N’s right DC Jets) and others including Carolyn George, (Tom N’s left DC Jets) remain working together at the many manufacturing sites bringing years of experience. In addition, the company has taken on many other former legacy Boeing and other OEM employees with extensive engineering, manufacturing and quality experience.
We manufacture hardware for commercial and military platforms in air, land, space and sea.
We have various locations.
